Ich hoffe, du bist gut ins neue Jahr gerutscht und hattest schöne Feiertage.
Mein Weihnachtsfest war in der Tat sehr Magenfüllend, aber auch schön.
Die Kreativität 2010 lässt bei mir noch etwas auf sich warten, aber das Jahr ist noch jung. *g*

Schön, dass du noch weitere Ideen in Arbeit hast.
Ideen sind bei mir auch vorhanden, aber Zeit und Faulheit machen es mir gelegentlich etwas schwer mit der Umsetzung. -.-

I hope im not being a bother, but you seem to know what you're doing when it comes to rats! I'm looking in to getting a rat pup, and I need some help from someone who knows the ropes!
my big question is boy or girl? whats the pros and cons of each? and also, do they smell? i would obviously keep the cages clean, just as i do with my other pets, but do their bodies actually give off an odor?
what are some main things i need to know?

I´m keeping both genders, at different packs of course ^^ The boys are cozier, they love to chill with you while watching tv. The girls at the other side are more agile, they like to explore your room, hiding, playing.. the whole stuff. That´s my impression after seven wonderful years with my rats. I dunno what´s "better", I like both ways. If you´re playing with the idea of a rat pup, please do them a favor and take two instead of only one! Rats are living in groups, it´s cruel to keep them alone.

And they do not smell if you clean them regularly every week.
That´s for the first. ^^
